  • Suddenlink's appalling cable and customer service



    Because they have a monopoly in the New Bern, NC area, SuddenLink has been raping me for several years. Their cable equipment in completely unreliable. For example, cable was out on the Saturday that the NFL playoffs began. I'm a huge football fan They said the earliest they could get someone out here was Monday. The cable box must be rebooted at least once every couple of days. When the box no longer works at all, I have to drive to the SuddenLink store to get%u2014not a new one but%u2014another box that has been turned in as defective.   • Suddenlink took payment out of wrong account



    I was in the process of closing one checking acct and starting a new one, I paid my suddenlink payment online and they took the payment out of both of my accounts. My bank and I both contacted Suddenlink and they were completely rude and slow on trying to fix this problem. The supervisor I spoke to was unbelievable rude and smart mouthed! I couldn't believe a business would treat their customers this way!! As soon as I find another internet provider in my area I am dropping them, their customer service is HORRIBLE!!!!   • problems with people and service



    for over 4 years now me and my mother have been paying for the cable internet and phone bundle. From day 1 we were having problems with the internet and phone for SOME reason they didn't register the modem as a phone and internet modem. Shortly after getting that fixed the modem would regularly reset 10 - 20 times a day without any reasoning behind it eventually after having all of the wiring inside the house checked 40 times they went out and replaced the drop line... which only took them 2 years to figure out. for 1 year we had little hickups in service when they were updating the...     For about a month I have been having problems with my reception of cable, ever since thsy said I needed a box to up grade to "HD". Its like watching a sticking DVDyou know the kind that the pixels aremessedup on only sometimes the sound is lost also.And then there is this balck box that states they are xperiencing problems and to notify them that you are having problems.
